- About Us
Junior golf is a top priority at Kent. We encourage our Juniors to get out and use the facility. Our bag tag program allows the children to progress through stages of development that ultimately allows them the opportunity to receive full-course privileges.
Our summer Junior program offers camps spread from early June through August. We separate the kids by age, gender and ability which affords them the best possible learning environment. Our camps are separated into on-course and practice facility days. Each day starts with a demonstration and question/answer sessions designed to increase the young student’s knowledge of the game. While on the course, the students are with an instructor and are taught how to play and act on the course. While at the practice facility, a five-station rotation is used to maximize learning. The students have the opportunity to learn and practice putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, and full swing. Our student-to-teacher ratio never exceeds 5 to 1, ensuring personal attention and keeping with Kent's tradition and beliefs.
